Food Service – Breakfast and Lunch Program

To all District families:

The Breakfast and Lunch program is for everyone. The free and reduced application can be filled out by anyone. The free and reduced reimbursements we receive for the federal government help our program provide meals for all students and keep the program in the black.

The regular cost of the programs are:

  • Breakfast
    • Pre-school -5th – $1.90
    • 6th – 12th – $2.05
  • Lunch
    • Pre-school -5th – $2.70
    • 6th – 12th – $2.90

Everyone can fill out the free and reduced application to see if a family meets the income qualifications. There is  no cost for the application or the review of it. Reduced families pay $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. There is no cost for free families. All students pay for extra milks, milk for home lunch or any seconds, regardless of income status.  The only thing covered for free or reduced families is the cost of reimbursable meal. The student pays for and must have money in a school account to make additional purchases.

Once you are approved the application is good for the whole school year. The only time you would want to re-apply is if you are reduced and your income has decreased and you might then qualify for free. The application needs to be filled out each school year but the application can be filled out anytime during the year, not just at the beginning of the school year.

The free and reduced application is available on-line or at any building’s main office.

My Staff at each building’s kitchen is dedicated to providing all of our students with a healthy, nutritional meal that meets federal and state nutritional regulations.
