Registration Information Needed!
Parents/Guardians, you no longer have to complete a new emergency card each school year; all the school asks of you is to carefully check over each child’s emergency card information, make corrections, and then initial and date the back of your child’s card.
West Liberty Schools cannot stress the importance of you keeping your child’s school up-to-date with your current contact information. Always check emergency cards for updates or errors that may need to be changed. If emergencies happen during the school day, we must have at least 3-4 contacts to call a caregiver. These contacts, along with your information need to be kept current throughout the school year.
If you would like to receive text messages for early dismissals, cancellations and school messages, please include your cell phone number and cell carrier information on the emergency card. Please check your e-mails and make sure that they are all correct.
As you are checking out, please notify the office manager of all changes on your student’s emergency cards.
Finally, remember to always keep the schools up-to-date with any life changes that affect emergency and/or home contacts. The JMC student/parent portal is made available to all parents/guardians and allow you to go online and make changes to your child’s emergency contact records. It also keeps you updated as to your child’s academic progress and attendance records. Call the school if you have any questions on using this system.
