Last week, the West Liberty Agricultural Education Program/FFA Chapter was selected as the top agriculture program in Iowa in 2026. This award was announced through the Iowa Association of Agricultural Educators. The award specifically highlights the achievements and growth of the program over the last five years (2021-2026) in Classroom Instruction, FFA Success, Work-Based Learning Opportunities, Business Partnership, Marketing, and Teacher Professional Development.
West Liberty is now qualified to compete against the six midwest regional state winners for a chance as a national finalist.

Reminder: the middle school will be participating in World Kindness Week with dress up days this week, February 17th-20th!

There has been a change in the dates of the candy sales at the middle school! They will be every day this week during that last 10 minutes of each lunch period February 17th-20th! Help support our student council!

The University of Iowa FREE Mobile Clinic will be in town next Sunday, February 22nd, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the City Administration Building, 111 W. 7th St, West Liberty.


The Middle School will be joining the Elementary/ELC in their wonderful dress up themes for World Kindness Spirit Week February 17th-20th!

8th grade students worked with Iowa PA students to learn how to give stitches and also got to look at their own DNA and bacteria.

The Middle School Student Council is hosting their annual candy sale to raise funds for student council activities and student involvement! Candy bags will be sold to students during lunch periods on February 10-11, and 18-20.
