Reminder to Families: If your child is not going to be riding the bus PLEASE be sure to call the bus barn, 319-627-4288, no later than 6:30 AM so that their bus driver knows! Buses leave the bus barn before building secretaries begin their work day, so drivers aren't aware of absences reported to school buildings before beginning their routes.

We would like to wish Checkers a happy retirement, this is his last week at West Liberty Middle School. Below is a picture of Checkers with his first 2nd grade class, and a picture with some of the same students who are now Juniors. Mr. Tom Barr and Chief Werling visited 7th grade World Cultures class. Mr. Barr spoke about his experience in Vietnam and shared interesting information about the war. Thank you to Mr. Barr and Chief Werling for sharing your experiences with the class!
Six 6th grade Comets were able to compete in a Math Bee on April 21st! Sorry we're a bit late with posting, we had a blast solving problems at this competition!

7th grade Character Ed students joined Mr. Stevenson to deliver food to the Elementary school this morning. The Backpack Program sends extra food home each week for over 100 students in the district.
