Fun and delicious experiment today in fifth grade.

Middle School fun!


Students from Mr. Beal's class made cookies and brightened the day for several of the Middle School staff. They also enjoyed some cookies for the efforts.






In 6th grade art class they are learning about value/shading in oil pastels using the human figure.


Last night's Junior High Band and Choir Concert was AMAZING!



Several middle school students traveled to Camp Courageous yesterday. These days are made possible by the effort of our extraordinary paraprofessional staff.










It was a full house for the 5th and 6th Grade Band Concert! What a great start to our evening of music!





Are you ready to hear the musical stylings of West Liberty 7th and 8th Grade Band and Choir students? We are! They perform tonight starting at 7:00 pm in the Middle School Gymnasium! Doors open at 6:45 pm, see you there!


Tonight at 5:30 pm our 5th and 6th Grade Band Students will dazzle you with performances you won't forget! Middle School gymnasium doors will open at 5:15 pm, we will see you there!


Tomorrow is the day for Middle School Band and Choir concerts! The 5th and 6th Grade Winter Band Concert will begin at 5:30 pm in the Middle School Gym. The 7th and 8th Grade Band and Choir Concert will begin at 7:00 pm in the Middle School Gym!

5th & 6th Grade Band Concert at 5:30 pm
7th & 8th Grade Band and Choir Concert at 7:00 pm

5th grade field trip to Voxman Music Building on the University of Iowa Campus. The organ professor, Dr. Hand, showed them some of the pipe organs in the building and many of them had the chance to play them!





In 6th grade World Cultures we spent a day in the life of ancient Sumerians. We learned how to write in Cuneiform, make meals from the food we had access to, and made floor plans of Ziggurats to name a few.






Ms. Molina's 6th grade dual language class working in their Ziggurat project from the Ancient Sumer Civilization.




Fifth graders worked through the STEM process and designed ships so passengers could cross the ‘ocean’.
