West Liberty High School Jazz Band will be performing this Saturday, April 5th at West Liberty Golf & Country Club from 4-8 pm! Come on out, enjoy some homemade pizza and enjoy the performance!
Tonight is the night for some great Improv! The Part-Time Simpletons take the stage at 7:00 pm in the High School Auditorium, all are invited to come to the show! We hope to see you there!

Be sure to go to the Brick Street Gallery-116 E 3rd St, to see the High School and Elementary Art Display! Gallery hours are Tuesday 2:30-5:00 and Wednesday-Saturday 11:00-2:00. WLCSD artwork will be on display through mid-April!

Attention High School Comets: Auditions for the upcoming Comet Cabaret will be held on Friday, March 28th at 3:30 pm in the High School Auditorium. No preparation is required, but you can bring a song or pick up monologues/scenes in advance in the office if you'd like.

It's Pi Day! In celebration, Middle School and High School students will receive a slice of pie with their lunch! Don't they look delicious! Happy Pi Day!

This Friday, March 14th, from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm is the opening reception for the Kindergarten & High School collaboration Art Show at the Brick Street Gallery, 116 E 3rd St, West Liberty! Kindergarten students drew monsters in art class, and High School Ceramics 2 students brought the monsters to life! Their artwork will be on display at the gallery from March 14th until April 18th, so if you aren't able to make it for the reception on Friday stop in to see it before April 18th!

The West Liberty chapter of Educators Rising attended the state conference hosted by the University of Iowa College of Education on Wednesday. The students attended workshops and breakout sessions, listened to educators talk about their experiences, and even got to meet Herky the Hawk! Teacher Leaders Ashley Shimmin and Kennedy Amos were presented with a $250 grant from the College Football Playoff Foundation to help the chapter with a teacher appreciation project.

Attention Senior Parents/Guardians: This is a reminder about important deadlines for the yearbook!
The last day to submit senior photos and quotes for the portrait section is March 31st. You can find the link to submit senior quotes on the Senior Advisement Class Google Classroom. If your senior plans to take photos after this date, please contact Mrs. Forbes at mforbes@wl.k12.is.us to inform her of the planned date.
Additionally, senior recognition ads and yearbooks can be purchased through our online store at https://yearbookforever.com/school-store/62Vmf0LUNcvivJtEtOAGrwQ2. Yearbooks are currently priced at $50 until April 30th, after which the price will increase to $60. The final day to purchase a yearbook is May 30th.
