We need one more car for the homecoming court to ride in for the parade! If you are interested in driving your car in the parade to escort two of our homecoming court students next Wednesday, September 17th, please email Merideth Schanz at mschanz@wl.k12.ia.us. Parade line-up will be at 6:00 pm with the parade starting at 6:15 pm.

Each family must complete the application to turn in for approval and receipt of the food. Monday, August 11th, will be the first day for high school cross country practice! Practice will be from 7:00-8:30 am August 11-15 and August 18th!

Cole Daufeldt and Cael Daufeldt of the West Liberty FFA Chapter in West Liberty, Iowa, have been named national finalists this year for Agricultural Proficiency Awards. Only four FFA members nationwide are selected as national finalists in each agricultural proficiency award area.

Cole Daufeldt qualified as a national finalist for the Turf and Landscaping Management Proficiency area through working at the West Liberty Golf and Country Club for the past five years as a golf course assistant. Cael Daufeldt qualified for the Poultry Production Proficiency area involving his work at his family turkey operation BKBE Farms for the past five years as a farmhand.
