West Liberty Community Schools Are Offering No-Cost Meals Through the Seamless Summer Option for the 2021-22 School Year!  

Please note that the free and reduced-price application may be needed for other programs and benefits (ex. Registration fees, Band instrument rental, P-EBT, Drivers Ed, etc.). CURRENT/EXISTING FAMILIES ONLY:

If your student(s) completed the 2020-21 school year and is returning this fall for the 2021-22 school year CLICK HERE to log in to your parent portal account and complete your annual update. Once you log in to the parent portal select "More" from the menu and then select "Online Registration".  You can pay school fees for your student(s) account online with your credit/debit card using the online payments link after submitting your online registration or by clicking on this link: Online Payments, if you wish to pay using cash or check you may pay directly at any school building or at the District Office, 1103 N. NEW FAMILIES:

This includes new families to the district as well as returning families who left the district prior to the end of the 2020-21 school year

New families will need proof of date of birth (for example, a birth or baptismal certificate) and immunization records for each child who will attend school in West Liberty for the first time. If your student is entering kindergarten or ninth grade and has had a dental and vision screening within the last year, please provide a document of proof.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

If you are unable to register online at home please be aware that we will hold in-person registration at the Elementary School on

  • JULY 28TH FROM 10:00 AM –2:00 PM  AND 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM,

  • JULY 29TH FROM 3:00 - 7:00 PM

In-person registration will be completed on the computer as well, we will have Chromebooks available in the Elementary Gym.   Any forms that are usually uploaded into online registration (Free and reduced forms, Concussion forms, etc.) will be available to fill out via paper and pen, but all other registration information will be entered using Chromebooks.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

  • All incoming Headstart, Pre-school, Pre-K, and Kindergartners need a physical, dental screening, vision screening, and a lead screening.

  • All incoming 3rd graders need a vision screening.

  • All incoming 7th graders need a Tdap and Meningitis vaccine or an exception.

  • All incoming 9th graders need a dental screening.

  • 6th - 12th graders need to have a signed concussion form on file before participating in P. E. 

  • 7th – 12th graders who wish to participate in any physical sports practices or events must have a sports physical, concussion form, and an emergency sports card to be allowed to participate. Both physicals and forms are to be renewed yearly.

  • All incoming 12th graders need two doses of the Meningitis vaccine or an exception.

  • All students need the required immunizations or exceptions on file before the first day of school.

2021-22 ALLOWABLE FEES

Allowable fees per year– (includes books, planner, worksheets & software charges)

  • Pre-school Tuition (for both 4-year old and 3-year old all day) – $320 per month

  • Kindergarten – $47.00

  • Grades 1-4 – $55.00

  • Grades 5-8 – $65.00

  • Grades 9-12 – $75.00

  • FFA Membership Dues – $30.00

  • Band Instrument Rental – $65.00 (Free/Reduced Discount Applies)

  • Show Choir - $95.00

Activity tickets:

  • Students K-12 – $35.00

  • Adult – $40.00 (10 punch ticket)

  • Adult – $100.00 Annual pass

The regular admission price for home varsity athletic events is $5.00 for adults and students. Senior citizens (65 and older) may pick up a complimentary pass, good for all regular conference athletic events. These are available at the Administration Office, 1103 N. Elm.

Balances from past due fees assigned to a student during the previous school year will be paid first before applying to this school year’s payments. Parents have the opportunity to pay these fees online by credit card, or at in-person registration if paying by cash or check. Once you set up your account you may make payments for your family’s fees and lunch accounts. Call your student’s school secretary for directions if you need help getting started.

You will also be able to check your child’s lunch account balance anytime during the school year by going to the Infinite Campus parent portal site. Infinite Campus will also provide you with information on your child’s attendance report, grades, and teacher’s comments. The information that you will need to access the Infinite Campus parent portal site will be provided to you at registration.

Parents have the opportunity to pay for their child’s lunch account and student fees online with their credit card at TouchBase Online Payments. You can also pay at registration or at any of our buildings.

REGISTRATION AFTER SCHOOL BEGINS

Please follow the instructions above for either new families if your child was not enrolled at the end of the 2020-21 school year or current/existing families if they were enrolled. Within 2-3 days, you will receive an email or a phone call from your child's building secretary to discuss the details of your student's application. You will receive an email with instructions for setting up your Parent Portal account which will provide access to your child's lunch account balance, grades, schedules, attendance, and other pertinent information. Be sure to check your email often after submitting the registration application.

Elm St. from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday Having these documents filled out and ready to upload will help to speed up the registration process.

If left for too long without any activity your online registration will time out and incomplete sections will be lost. All complete sections should save so that you do not need to fill them out again. It would be very beneficial to have all of the above information readily available before beginning your registration. 

Finally, remember to always keep the schools up-to-date with any life changes that affect emergency and/or home contacts. The Infinite Campus student/parent portal is made available to all parents/guardians and allows you to go online and make changes to your child’s emergency contact records. It also keeps you updated as to your child’s academic progress and attendance records. Call the school if you have any questions about using this system.
