Yesterday was an exciting day in West Liberty Middle School! Ms. Edwards’ 8th grade Literacy classes began Argument Olympics and held opening ceremonies throughout the day! Students in each class participated in several group competitions: Equestrian, Balance Beam, Gymnastics, Bobsled, and Javelin Throw to name a few.
For their next competition they will need to compose their argument writing piece on any school-appropriate topic they choose. Members of each group will present their writing pieces during the closing ceremony.
