Under the Sea at the ELC Dance

On Friday, April 14th preschool - 2nd grade students were invited to attend the Under the Sea at the ELC dance!  Tickets were $10.00 each and covered one student and one special adult guest.  It was a magical night!  The front entrance and yard were decorated with a lighthouse, waves, a giant octopus, a boardwalk (with a pelican), and colorful fins around the entrance doors.

Students who dared to enter Shark Cove (the fenced in garden in front of the ELC) were able to pose for pictures on a surf board inside of a giant wave after making their way past all of the sharks swimming in the grass.

The gymnasium was turned into an under sea paradise, complete with coral, fish, mermaids, a sunken ship, scuba diver, submarine, a castle, and even an underwater chandelier!

The hallways were decorated as well leading to classrooms where students were able to complete crafts, visit the snack shop serving shark bait, and get their picture taken with Aquaman.

Students had a blast at the dance!  We are so glad that we were able to accommodate 1st and 2nd grade students since they weren't able to have dances during COVID.  Check out the dancing moves in the video below!
