Welcome back to the Friday fly-over!
What a week it has been and the fun is just getting started. We were able to host our first events at the new complex within the last week, and look forward to hosting our first track meet tomorrow morning. While there is still work to be done, we are thrilled with the progress.
Some of the progress you will notice from the last fly-over are the baseball and softball dugouts and press boxes. The home dugouts offer our players plenty of dugout space, a coach's office, and a clubhouse for players to store equipment. The press boxes offer more storage on the ground level, and enough room for several adults, including play-by-play announcers on the Comet Activities Network. The new baseball and softball scoreboards have also been installed. These scoreboards offer inning-by-inning scores, and large, LED numbers to make them easier to read.
While we have started to welcome people into the complex, we would ask that the public continue to stay out of the area during the day while the contractors continue to work. Thank you for your continued understanding. Enjoy the view of the complex from our drone!
