United Way Muscatine County is excited to announce its 2025 Community School Supply Drive, taking place from July 27 to August 1st, to support students across Muscatine, Wilton, West Liberty, and Louisa-Muscatine (L-M) school districts. With over 7,700 households in Muscatine and Louisa Counties struggling to meet basic needs, this initiative ensures that every child starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
Local businesses, civic groups, and faith-based organizations are encouraged to participate by collecting essential school supplies. Churches may collect donations on Sunday, July 27, while businesses are invited to contribute Monday through Thursday of that week. Items may be dropped off at designated locations on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Supplies Needed:
Backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, highlighters, colored pencils, glue, glue sticks, pencil boxes/pouches, washable markers, dry erase markers, scissors, 1-inch binders, headphones/earbuds, index cards, pocket folders, notebook paper (wide rule), graph paper, composition notebooks, two-pocket folders, hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, and Clorox wipes.
