The West Liberty Community School District is pleased to share an update on progress for the new West Liberty High School Activities Center, an exciting project that will greatly enhance the training space for students once complete.
This week, crews were focused on soil testing and surveying work at the construction site. Onlookers may notice new flags and markers in the area - these identify the corners of the future facility as well as the planned paths for underground utilities. As a reminder to the public, this remains an active construction area. For your safety and in support of the crews working on-site, please stay out of the area and be aware of construction vehicles entering and exiting the campus. Your cooperation helps keep the project on schedule and prevents unnecessary risks.

We are also excited to share a rendering of the project from the second floor, just inside the entrance to the facility from the current high school building. This view offers a preview of the two-lane track that will circle the open turf area below - one of the many features that will make this a valuable space for athletics, activities, and community use.  The district looks forward to continuing updates as the project progresses and is grateful for the community's ongoing support.
