Baseball and Softball Storage

Weekly Construction Update

Over the past week, visible construction activity on site was limited as contractors continued to finalize detailed plans for the footings and piers that will support the new building. This planning phase is a critical step to ensure a safe and durable foundation for the project.

Looking Ahead

Weather permitting, excavation work for the footings and piers is anticipated to begin next week. Once excavation is underway, the community should begin to see more noticeable on-site progress.

Safety Reminder

Please remember that the area inside the construction fencing is an active construction zone. For everyone's safety, students, staff, and community members should stay out of this area at all times. In addition, be alert and cautious of construction vehicles entering and exiting the high school campus.

Featured Renderings

Today's featured renderings highlight the structure that will separate the new weight room from the batting cage area.

  • Weight Room Side

    • The rendering shows weight equipment for visualization purposes only; the equipment depicted is not the actual equipment that will be installed. This side of the structure will include a nutrition area and mirrors to help lifters monitor and improve their form. The screen wall separating the weight room from the track is also visible, and additional mirrors will be installed on this screen wall.

  • Batting Cage Side

    • On this side of the structure, there will be two dedicated storage areas - one for baseball and one for softball equipment.

  • West End of the Structure

    • The west end will feature drinking fountains along with a bottle filling station for student-athletes and facility users.

We appreciate the community's patience and excitement as this important early phase of construction continues. We look forward to sharing more visible progress in the weeks ahead.
