Why Head Start?
Head Start allows your children to attend a FULL DAY at West Liberty Early Learning Center (ELC) at NO COST to you! (This program does not provide transportation.) Families who do not qualify for Head Start services must pay for the second half of the day if they choose to have their child attend Preschool all day. The first half of the school day is provided for free through the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program.
What is Head Start?
Head Start is a program that provides services to promote academic, social, and emotional development. This proram applies to children ages 3 to 5. Program eligibility is for children and families at or below the federal poverty level or where students have specific developmental needs.
