State Trap week has come to an end. Here are the final results for Morgan and Kaden Hodge.
League Results:
Morgan: Second Place Varsity Female
Wilton Trap Team: First Place Senior Division Team (Morgan Hodge. Lodden Axtell, Cole Henning, Lexi Henning, Evan Elder)
Championship Results:
Wilton Trap Team: 3rd Place Varsity Squad (Morgan Hodge, Kaden Hodge, Lodden Axtell, Cole Henning, Evan Elder)
Morgan earned 5th place in the Ladies Senior Division High All Around which is a combination of the scores for all 3 disciplines shot during State week.
Morgan also made the All State Team! This is a combination of singles scores for league and championship week. The top 6 Senior Division females make the team.






State Trap is taking place this week! Comets who competing at the state meet with Wilton Trap Team are Theo Solomon, Morgan Hodge and Kaden Hodge!

WLCSD Free Summer Lunch will start on Monday, June 12th! Lunch for the current day and breakfast for the next day will be provided to ALL children ages 1-18 at our pickup up locations. Meals will be grab and go this year, so drop by and pick up a meal to take home and enjoy!

Our nutrition team is spreading cheer during these last few days of school! Students enjoyed their potato smiles today for lunch!


Our WLHS Freshman class celebrated their victory in the 3rd Trimester Attendance and Grade Competition! For 3rd trimester, 9th grade averaged 80% of students passing all their classes and 75% had no tardies or unexcused absences. We look forward to seeing it all pay off with final grades posting next week! Excellent job 9th grade class!

Reminder to Families: If your child is not going to be riding the bus PLEASE be sure to call the bus barn, 319-627-4288, no later than 6:30 AM so that their bus driver knows! Buses leave the bus barn before building secretaries begin their work day, so drivers aren't aware of absences reported to school buildings before beginning their routes.


Morgan Hodge is the Bob Graf Memorial Handicap Lady 1 Out of State Winner from last weekend's trapshoot. And she is a graduate of the class of 2023! Congratulations Morgan!

We would like to wish Checkers a happy retirement, this is his last week at West Liberty Middle School.
