Mrs. Forbes' Ceramic 2 students had the opportunity to meet the Program Head of Ceramics at the University of Iowa, Andrew Casto and tour the Visual Arts Building that was just opened back in 2017. They toured the ceramic classroom, kiln room, glaze and clay mixing room, the outdoor wood fire and gas kilns, and even got to peek in on a jewelry and metal arts class. One of the students talked about what they were working on for her final project in that class!
