A beautiful sunrise to start off the day at West Liberty Middle School! Keep on shining Comets! Thank you to Mr. Beal for capturing this moment!

ELC students had a great time on their field trip to the puppet show at the New Strand Theatre on Friday! Thank you @Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company!

Good afternoon. It has come to our attention that some students did not purchase Homecoming dance tickets in advance. We have a deadline for purchasing tickets and ask that they be bought in advance to help us determine budget and so that we know how many students to expect at the dance for number chaperones and count in the gym. We provided the message to students in morning announcements and it has been posted on the TVs during the day for the past two weeks. As an administration we felt that this was enough to broadcast the message and deadline for tickets, however it appears that the message did not reach all students. This is good to know for delivering messages in the future to students and staff and we will relook at our current system to make sure all hear the announcements. Therefore we will allow tickets to be purchased at the door this evening for West Liberty students only. No out of town guests may buy tickets at the door because prior approval is needed. Cost is $10.00 and exact change is preferred.
Thank you.
HS Administration

Students in Ms. DePrenger's PE class have started their team-building unit! Students are working together while using parachutes to get a ball up and over the net to their teammates on the other side.

Fifth-grade students created "Figure Me Out" posters last week, with math problems about themselves. Their posters had questions that resulted in a number for the answer, for example, "How many siblings do I have?" Once their posters were created they went around the room and answered one question from each of their classmates' posters. To finish, they shared one new thing they learned about a peer!
