
Ceramics 2 had the opportunity to visit and meet with Andy Casto, the Ceramics Area Head and Professor at the University of Iowa’s Visual Arts Building. Students were able to see a live demo, graduate studio spaces and the state-of-the-art ceramic studios, kiln room, clay and glaze mixing room, and the outdoor wood fire kilns.

Today was Day 1 of our Ancient Egyptian Mummification Process Demonstrations. Students took the whole class through the mummification steps used in Ancient Egypt.
