West Liberty! Your Comets Esports team has qualified for the Winter State Tournament in their inaugural season! Congratulations to Bryson Garcia, Oscar Hernandez, and Rodrigo Fierro-Perez on leading the team to the first of many state tournament appearances.

5th graders have been learning about the colonies and slavery. They learned that people that were against slavery helped slaves by making freedom quilts to help escaping slaves know a secret code . They made freedom quilts! Here is each class with their completed quilts.

6th graders sent Valentine's Day e-cards to children being treated at St Jude's Children's Hospital today to spread some love.
Students shared their appreciation to the middle school staff by providing coffee, tea, or hot chocolate on this Valentine's Day.

Ceramics 2 had the opportunity to visit and meet with Andy Casto, the Ceramics Area Head and Professor at the University of Iowa’s Visual Arts Building. Students were able to see a live demo, graduate studio spaces and the state-of-the-art ceramic studios, kiln room, clay and glaze mixing room, and the outdoor wood fire kilns.
