
Mr. Tom Barr and Chief Werling visited 7th grade World Cultures class. Mr. Barr spoke about his experience in Vietnam and shared interesting information about the war. Thank you to Mr. Barr and Chief Werling for sharing your experiences with the class!



Six 6th grade Comets were able to compete in a Math Bee on April 21st! Sorry we're a bit late with posting, we had a blast solving problems at this competition!

7th grade Character Ed students joined Mr. Stevenson to deliver food to the Elementary school this morning. The Backpack Program sends extra food home each week for over 100 students in the district.

West Liberty High School's 9-10 Concert Band is done with performances for the year. None the less, they continue to learn about characteristics of LEADERSHIP! Recently, students understood the importance of communication while under pressure by playing Taboo!




Ms. Hearn & Mrs. Harvey's Math 3 students were challenged by their teachers to figure the height of our high school's flagpole using tape measures and trigonometry! Math is fun!




Jetsamany Solis, a junior at WLHS, was selected for the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award. The award is a $10,000 scholarship program for high school juniors. Congrats, Jetsa!


Today was letter N day for Numbers Day!
Some 2nd graders had an addition and subtraction number hunt and it was a blast!
