Some created their own God or Goddess, some created board games that we played in class, and some created year books or a short story, or a PowerPoint about the history of a God or Goddess!









7th grade Character Ed students joined Mr. Stevenson to deliver food to the Elementary school this morning. The Backpack Program sends extra food home each week for over 100 students in the district.

West Liberty High School's 9-10 Concert Band is done with performances for the year. None the less, they continue to learn about characteristics of LEADERSHIP! Recently, students understood the importance of communication while under pressure by playing Taboo!



Ms. Hearn & Mrs. Harvey's Math 3 students were challenged by their teachers to figure the height of our high school's flagpole using tape measures and trigonometry! Math is fun!



Jetsamany Solis, a junior at WLHS, was selected for the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award. The award is a $10,000 scholarship program for high school juniors. Congrats, Jetsa!

Today was letter N day for Numbers Day!
Some 2nd graders had an addition and subtraction number hunt and it was a blast!

Last week, Mrs. Henderson took a team of students to Bettendorf to compete in the Regatta! Students from the area designed and constructed cardboard vessels that would attempt to stay afloat at Bettendorf Middle Park Lagoon! The students had a blast even if they didn't stay dry!

Morgan won 3rd place overall high school female for the 200 bird event!
Morgan and Kaden were on the second place high school squad with Cole Henning, Emma Bunge, and Lexi Henning!
