Happy Halloween from West Liberty Middle School! It was so much fun dressing up today!

The Elementary held an assembly today to do their final puff ball dump, to see if they reached their PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) goal for the month of October. Not only did they reach it they surpassed it! As a reward, they got to "chalk the walk!"

Reminder: No school tomorrow or Friday! We hope our students enjoy the long weekend! ELC and Elementary parent/teacher conferences start tonight, 4-8 pm and continue from 8 am - 8 pm tomorrow.

If you aren't able to make it to the game tonight, you can listen to Tim Foley broadcasting live at http://TheCometCast.com

We are sorry for the delay in posting Friday's Main Event at the Elementary! We recognized the Caring Comets pictured below, and we dumped our weekly puff balls into the whole school bin! Puff balls are earned throughout the week for good behavior.

Three West Liberty FFA Teams will compete at FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, Parliamentary Procedure, Nursery Landscaping, and Floriculture! We are so proud of you and wish you the best of luck at National Convention!

Shout out to the High School Counselors!
They shared lots of great information tonight with parents. Be sure to check the District Youtube Channel for the presentation and the website for the slides. If you have questions, reach out to Steph Paulsen (spaulsen@wl.k12.ia.us) or Andrea Shultice (ashultice@wl.k12.ia.us)

6th-grade Comets let it fly today during PE! The game was a frisbee shuttle race to the top of the hill and back to the fence. Kelly says that the wind is definitely a factor in this game!

Junior Achievement volunteer, Jason Feldman, is leading a lesson with 3rd-grade Comets today! Junior Achievement lessons foster financial literacy skills, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Thank you Jason! @WestLibertyStateBank
