
The Elementary held an assembly today to do their final puff ball dump, to see if they reached their PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) goal for the month of October. Not only did they reach it they surpassed it! As a reward, they got to "chalk the walk!"





Reminder: No school tomorrow or Friday! We hope our students enjoy the long weekend! ELC and Elementary parent/teacher conferences start tonight, 4-8 pm and continue from 8 am - 8 pm tomorrow.

We are sorry for the delay in posting Friday's Main Event at the Elementary! We recognized the Caring Comets pictured below, and we dumped our weekly puff balls into the whole school bin! Puff balls are earned throughout the week for good behavior.




Three West Liberty FFA Teams will compete at FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, Parliamentary Procedure, Nursery Landscaping, and Floriculture! We are so proud of you and wish you the best of luck at National Convention!

Late Post: Our Visiting Teachers from Spain were recognized at last week's City Council meeting.


On Saturday, Morgan and Kaden Hodge participated in a trap meet vs North Scott Trap Team!
Morgan received first place in Varsity Female for Singles, Handicap, and Doubles.
Kaden received second place in Varsity Male for Singles and Handicap and third place for Doubles.

6th-grade Comets let it fly today during PE! The game was a frisbee shuttle race to the top of the hill and back to the fence. Kelly says that the wind is definitely a factor in this game!

Juniors and seniors attended a Mini College Fair in the high school gym today!

Happy Birthday Mrs. Hudson! The ELC had a birthday party assembly this morning, complete with gifts, singing, and a dance party!





7th Grade Comets have been working on their Ukulele Play-Along Projects. Students have learned chords on the ukulele that allow them to play along to hundreds of popular songs. Each group has chosen a song to learn and they are working hard to play along with a track.
