
Each year we work with Junior Achievement of the Hartland to bring volunteer-delivered learning covering work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills. City Manager, David Haugland, is one of our JA volunteers this year teaching our 3rd graders!


Correction to yesterday's post regarding the 2022 Summer Lunch Program - Meals will be served for dine-in at the Nichols Catholic Hall and at the Atalissa Zion Lutheran Church, they will not be meals for pick-up. Please see the corrected flyers below for more information.

Theo Solomon - 1st place in singles, 2nd place in Handicaps, & 2nd place in doubles for Intermediate Advance Male.

Morgan Hodge shot at the May 7th meet hosted by Davenport Youth Trap, she received a 2nd place medal for Senior Female in singles, 1st place medal for Senior Female in Handicap, and a 3rd place medal for Senior Female in Doubles. Her squad received a 1st place medal for Senior Squad in Singles, a 1st place medal for Senior Squad in Handicap, and a 2nd place medal for Senior Squad in Doubles other squad members were Cole Henning, Evan Eldet, Lane Felske and Lodden Axtell.

On May 5th Morgan and Kaden Hodge shot with Highland Shooting Sports in a singles only event. Morgan received a 1st place medal for High School Female and Kaden received a 1st place medal for High School Male.

The WLHS Spring Play "Leaving Iowa" will take the stage one last time tonight at 7:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door $5 for students and $10 for adults!


Come to the High School Auditorium tonight or tomorrow night at 7:00 pm to see Leaving Iowa, you won't want to miss this play!


The Part Time Simpletons will take the stage for the last time this school year on Friday, May 20th! If you haven't come to see them yet, mark your calendars!

Yesterday was "O" is for Outdoor learning day! Mrs. Hudson's class went on a scavenger hunt and played a water game!
