2nd Grade had a lot of fun cleaning up Kimberly Park in celebration of Earth Day! High school students came and helped rake, mulch and pick up trash and sticks.

Photos from yesterday's Music Enrichment class field trip to Mr. Miller's music studio, "The Vault" in downtown West Liberty! The students toured the studio and recorded an original song!
Today was the last day of School of the Wild for 4th grade. They had the opportunity to do some hiking, learn about birds and different animals, catch frogs, learn to set up a tent, learn to make a fire and made smores of course among so much more throughout the week!










A visit from the Muscatine County Conservation in first grade was a great addition to their current unit, Animals & Habitats!





Preschool students have been reading the folktale "Stone Soup". They worked together to cut vegetables and put the soup together, complete with an actual stone! 🪨 After cooking tonight, they get to taste test tomorrow! What do you think? Will most of them like it?










Yesterday, high school students participated in the annual Career Exploration Fair! Thank you to all the area businesses who participated!









7th graders have been completing a unit on informational texts. They read "The Last Human Light" and "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind," a story about a young man who brought electricity to his village in Malawi. Literacy students helped bring a little light to the middle school "village."
Mr. Swearingen and Ms. Morrison's 5th Grade Total Wellness Classes drew posters to put up throughout the town to remind everybody of Earth Day on April 22nd!
