2nd graders practicing 2-digit subtraction. Each student placed a card around the room and they traveled from card to card solving the subtraction problems. They had fun working together and helping others!




3rd grade has been learning about the different systems in the human body and their 5 senses and just had their end of unit activities!







Bringing the library to the classroom! Librarian Jan Smith pulled a selection of WLMS library books for 8th grade history teacher Dan Stevenson to display and promote while he teaches the American War for Independence.


1st grade has been learning about writing in early world civilizations. They used Cuneiform from Mesopatamia to crack their Tricky Word code!




Fun Friday: 1st graders challenged their partners in a game of "Steal the Square" using words with their spelling patter /oo/.









Remember to bring in canned goods for the Middle School Canned Food Drive! All non-perishable are welcome, though canned fruits and vegetables, canned pasta, and Chunky soups are highly requested. We are collecting items until Wednesday, December 4th.
