Join us in celebrating the graduating class of 2023 on Sunday May 28th, 2023! The ceremony will start at 1:00 pm in the High School Gymnasium, doors open at 12:30 pm for family and community members. Seniors should report to the library no later than 12:15 pm.

West Liberty Community School District Buildings and Offices will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance Memorial Day to remember and honor all who served.

WLHS National Honor Society contributed to Muscatine County's Community Baby Shower! With NHS help, Muscatine County raised a total of nearly $5,000 for local non-profits.
The elementary school art classes went outside this week!
The students designed and flew paper airplanes, made bracelets, drew, played games and enjoyed the beautiful weather!
Yesterday, WLHS celebrated and said goodbye to their seniors! Here is iJAG and ESL seniors celebrating their accomplishments! Join us on Sunday at 1pm to celebrate all our seniors!
West Liberty ELC & Elementary students made necklaces in art class!
They made their own beads from paper, a pendant from clay (texture was formed by stepping on the clay), they strung beads onto yarn using the beads they made and donated plastic beads, the pendants were decorated with marker.

Today was Step Up day where all of our students got to move up a grade level and meet teachers as well as learn a little about their grade level for next year!
Fourth grade visits Fifth grade today. The excitement was contagious!
Congratulations to Terri Ortiz on her retirement! Terri has worked for West Liberty School District for 29 years, 19 years as a Paraprofessional and 10 years as a custodian. She has touched the lives of many students and staff! Thank you to all who helped us celebrate!

She was a Paraprofessional for 19 years and has served as a custodian for 10 years. She has touched the lives of many students and staff, mark your calendars and help us celebrate Terri!
