Our future teachers in Educators Rising all have many teachers in their lives who have influenced them. Thank you to each teacher in our Comet family, current and former, who has influenced their lives for the better! #EdRising25 @EducatorsRising

Special shoutout to one of our middle school counselors, Mr. Hughes, for all he does for our students and our building! We appreciate you!

Educators Rising students have been learning more about the policies that make up the “unseen” side of the education world. These students will be learning about laws and policies, and hearing about the world of teaching from future teachers at the University of Iowa. We will be presenting to the School Board this spring, discussing our experience at the Iowa State Educators Rising Conference, and some students will be competing with research projects and speeches highlighting the various points of view on the more difficult or new issues that teachers see in the classroom. #EdRising25 @EducatorsRising

Happy Educators Rising Spirit Week! We are excited to spotlight some future educators this week and show you the wonderful things they have been up to in our first year here in West Liberty. Students have been using their open periods to get out into the elementary classrooms, volunteering their time, and working with kids. Through this experience, they are learning more about the education field and what a day in the life of a teacher looks like! #EdRising25 @EducatorsRising
