All sophomores visited Muscatine Community College today to learn more about the 11 different academies available to West Liberty students. Students learned about the various offerings directly from the professors in each area. MCC offers academies in Auto Tech, Engineering tech, HVAC, Welding, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, Business, Teacher Prep, IT/Networking, Culinary Arts, and Agriculture. Students who decide to participate in an Academy at MCC would spend half of their day at WLHS and half of their day at MCC taking college courses to get a jump start on their college classes. On Wednesday, October 23rd iJAG students with an interest in the cosmetology field attended a career exploration event at Capri College. Students got to try out different products, engage with current students, and learn from instructors at Capri. #wlcomets #capricollege

Middle school choir students held their Halloween Informance the past few evenings in the choir room and had a blast!




Annual International Day Human Rights Conference at the University of Iowa. Students heard from a variety of speakers, took part in different sessions about Anne Frank, building sustainable cities, fast fashion, and rights of the child plus more!
