They also hopped on over to Jet Air Inc. to tour and do some investigative research at the Iowa City Airport. Can anyone guess what next years yearbook theme might be!? Also, we might have some future Comet Pilots on our hands! Did you know, you can start to train at just 16 years old?!

Clark is at the Capital!! Georgia Clark recently earned recognition in an essay contest celebrating Iowa and the upcoming 250th Birthday of the United States. In the “Place” category, she wrote about the National WWII Memorial, inspired by her visit there and her own family history. As part of the honor, each category winner had the opportunity to meet personally with the Governor for an interview and photos. Joining her today was her mentor for academics, Mr. Morris.
Congratulations, Georgia, on this outstanding accomplishment and for continuing to make such a positive impression through your hard work, knowledge, and passion for civics and history!
From Mr. Genz to Dr. Genz! Our middle school principal has graduated from Drake University with a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership with a Superintendent Licensure! Join us in congratulating him on this huge accomplishment!
