
The third grade welcomed Muscatine County Conservation as part of our Aligned Impact of Muscatine County partnership. Students got to meet and pet a couple of amphibious friends and learn about our local wildlife.

Attention 8th Grade Comets! Step up to 9th Grade will be held at West Liberty High School at 6:30 pm tonight! Meet your advisor, review your 4-year plan, meet the Counselors and Administrators, and learn about a typical day at the High School! We hope to see you there!


The Junior Achievement team of Laney Esmoil, Nellie Stagg, Tytan Griffith, and Kaden Broders placed 2nd again today. Each member of the team earned a $750 academic scholarship as a result! Thank you, West Liberty State Bank for sponsoring our team and J.J. Garcia for mentoring our team!

West Liberty High School students participated in a career exploration fair. Local business partners came to discuss their company and all the different careers and opportunities available within that company. Work-based learning events are structured opportunities for students to interact with employers either at school, or at the worksite. The purpose of WBL is to build student awareness of potential careers and to facilitate student exploration of career opportunities.

Kaden Hodge earned a 2nd place medal for Varsity Male in Singles following a shoot-off with Mason Gooch from Bettendorf on Saturday. Both shot 49/50 during the competition and Mason won the shoot-off giving Kaden 2nd place. Kaden also earned 1st place medals for Varsity Male in Handicap and a 1st place medal for Varsity Male in Doubles. Kaden will compete this Saturday in Hiawatha at a meet hosted by Cedar Rapids Kennedy!

Our third graders are excited to work with Aligned Impact Muscatine County (AIM) again this year! Today we hosted Ann Green from ISU Extension and Outreach. She taught a STEM lesson and helped students build tracks to race Hex Bugs. Everyone had a great time!
