This Friday, March 14th, from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm is the opening reception for the Kindergarten & High School collaboration Art Show at the Brick Street Gallery, 116 E 3rd St, West Liberty! Kindergarten students drew monsters in art class, and High School Ceramics 2 students brought the monsters to life! The 4th grade TAG students went to a bridge building competition at the Putnam Museum! They toured the museum first and then did the competition and followed it up with an IMAX movie called Dream Big which is about engineering and how it impacts our world.

The West Liberty chapter of Educators Rising attended the state conference hosted by the University of Iowa College of Education on Wednesday. The students attended workshops and breakout sessions, listened to educators talk about their experiences, and even got to meet Herky the Hawk! Teacher Leaders Ashley Shimmin and Kennedy Amos were presented with a $250 grant from the College Football Playoff Foundation to help the chapter with a teacher appreciation project.
